The goal of the present project was to screen newly synthesized chiral sulfoxides on their chiral recognition ability with 16 different cellulose phenylcarbamate-based chiral selectors in high-performance liquid chromatography. Most of these 16 chiral selectors were also non-commercial products and synthesized in the frame of the present project. By systematic variation of the chemistry and structure of chiral selectors and selectands those structural features must be prevailed which are most critical for selector-selectand binding and chiral recognition ability. Bellow I have presented only chloro sabstituted chiral seleqctors based on cellulose phenylcarbamates.
