Unfortunately, the intensity and the distribution of mudflows increases step by step, which is caused by: the change of climate (it becomes more continental) and becomes more arid, the humidity coefficient is decreasing, forests are cut down, vegetation cover decreases, while human impact increases on the environment. In the end of XX and the beginning of XXI centuries in Georgia 2750 mudflows were recorded. 2 mln. Ha of the whole territory of the country has become In the danger of the risk of mudflows. Mudflows can have a negative influence on railways, highways, and other types of transportation (water pipes and etc), agricultural lands, cities, towns and villages, such as: Tbilisi, Telavi, Sagarejo, Borjomi. In the article the preventional cases of Georgia and Kazakstan are discussed.
